Terms and Conditions

The information on this website is general guidance for planning a trip to Sikkim, Darjeeling and Kalimpong. We check it carefully, but permit rules, roads and opening times change, so please read our travel disclaimer and confirm anything important with us before you rely on it.

We do not publish fixed prices. Every trip is quoted for your party, and your written quotation sets out the price, what it includes, how payment works and the cancellation terms for that trip. Those terms are the ones that apply to your booking.

A booking is made on the terms in the quotation once you have accepted it in writing.

Protected Area Permits and vehicle permits are issued by government offices, not by us. We apply on your behalf as a registered agency, but we cannot guarantee that a permit will be issued or that a protected area will be open on the day.

Mountain itineraries depend on roads, weather and official decisions. If a day has to change, we rearrange it where we can and tell you why. How any change affects the price follows the terms in your quotation and our cancellation policy.
