9 Days Sikkim Tour Itinerary (Sketch):
Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra.
- Day 2: Gangtok sightseeing
Day 3: Gangtok sightseeing with Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir, MG Marg evening.
Day 4: Drive from Gangtok to Lachung via waterfalls and mountain viewpoints.
Day 5: Explore Yumthang Valley and Zero Point, return to Lachung.
Day 6: Drive back from Lachung to Gangtok, rest and leisure.
Day 7: Gangtok to Pelling drive with Ravangla Buddha Park visit.
Day 8: Pelling sightseeing including monasteries, ruins, and sacred lake.
Day 9: Departure to Bagdogra/NJP with farewell.
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Bagdogra or NJP to Gangtok
- Meet and greet at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.
- In the evening, you can explore the local market for shopping and photography.
- Dinner and overnight in the Hotel.
Day 2: Gangtok Local Sightseeing
- After breakfast, Visit places like Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir
- Return to Gangtok in the evening.
- Explore the MG Marg, a popular shopping and dining area.
Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung
- Check out from your Gangtok hotel.
- Drive to Lachen (about 6-7 hours).
- En route, visit Singhik View Point and Seven Sisters Waterfalls.
- Check-in at your Lachen hotel and relax for the night.
Day 4: Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake and Lachung
- Wake up early and leave for Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world.
- Return to Lachen and have breakfast.
- Drive to Lachung (about 3-4 hours).
- Check-in at your Lachung hotel and relax.
Day 5: Yumthang Valley and Zero Point
- After breakfast, visit Yumthang Valley, known as the “Valley of Flowers.”
- Explore Zero Point (Yumesamdong) if the weather permits.
- Return to Lachung for the night.
Day 6: Lachung to Gangtok
- Check out from your Lachung hotel.
- Drive back to Gangtok (about 6-7 hours).
- Check-in at your Gangtok hotel and relax.
Day 7: Gangtok to Pelling
- Check out from your Gangtok hotel.
- Drive to Pelling (about 4-5 hours).
- En route, visit the Ravangla Buddha Park.
- Check-in at your Pelling hotel and relax for the night.
Day 8: Pelling Sightseeing
- After breakfast, explore Pelling’s attractions.
- Visit places like Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, and Khecheopalri Lake.
Day 9: Departure
- Check out from your hotel and drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and farewell.
