Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri Railway station

  • Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.
  • Check into your hotel and relax.
  • Explore the local market in the evening.
  • Dinner and overnight in Hotel. 

Day 2: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

  • Start your day with a visit to the Rumtek Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in Sikkim.
  • Visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology to learn about Tibetan culture and history.
  • Visit the Enchey Monastery, perched on a hilltop with panoramic views of Gangtok.
  • End the day with a visit to the Flower Exhibition Center and Do Drul Chorten Stupa.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung

  • After breakfast, drive to Lachung a picturesque mountain village in North Sikkim.
  • En route, visit Singhik Viewpoint, Seven Sisters Waterfall, and Naga Waterfall.
  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Lachung and relax amidst the scenic beauty.

Day 4: Yumthang Valley and Zero Point Excursion

  • Early morning visit to Yumthang Valley, known as the “Valley of Flowers.”
  • Continue to Zero Point, a beautiful and remote area.
  • Return to Lachung, dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 5: Lachung to Gangtok

  • Drive back to Gangtok.
  • On the way visit the beautiful Bhim Nala Waterfall and the hot springs at Yumthang.
  • Reach Gangtok and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 6: Gangtok to Pelling

  • After breakfast, drive to Pelling, a serene hill station in West Sikkim.
  • On the way, visit the picturesque Temi Tea Garden.
  • Dinner and overnight in the hotel, enjoy the evening with stunning views of Kanchenjunga.

Day 7: Pelling Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, visit the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim.
  • Explore the Rabdentse Ruins, the former capital of the Kingdom of Sikkim.
  • Visit the Khecheopalri Lake, considered sacred by both Buddhists and Hindus.
  • Enjoy the scenic beauty of Pelling and the Himalayan ranges.
  • Dinner and overnight in Hotel. 

Day 8: Departure

  • Check out from your hotel in Pelling.
  • Depending on your departure time, you may visit the Char Dham in Namchi or simply head back to Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri for your onward journey.
